🧩 Puzzle Coders
Algorithms are just recipes with superpowers
What you’ll do 🌈
A playful computational-thinking camp for ages 7–10. Kids learn that algorithms are recipes: clear steps, smart repeats, honest choices, and friendly debugging when the robot does something silly.

Robot Recipe Book
Three everyday tasks, written as algorithms a robot (or Python) can follow without guessing.
Turn three real-life jobs — like making a snack, lining up for recess, or packing a bag — into clear step-by-step algorithms with a choice and a repeat.
Must include
- ✅At least three numbered algorithms about real life
- ✅One algorithm that uses a repeat (a loop)
- ✅One algorithm that uses a choice (if/else)
- ✅A Python version of your favorite recipe that prints the steps
Stretch goals
- 🌟Add a “debug note” where a step used to go wrong
- 🌟Let the robot retry a step with a loop
- 🌟Add emoji so the recipe feels like a comic
🎤 Show it off: Read one recipe out loud while a family member acts as the robot — if they get stuck, your algorithm is missing a step.
